Swap - Denmark [2/2]

Last Sunday I visited Wilanów Palace. It was a residence of Jan III Sobieski, king of Poland. Inside of the building there is a lot of postuments and paintings.
Thank you for a swap, Hans! :-)

I used this type of stamps related to Easter, because they were the only available in post offices lately. Sometimes this is a big problem to buy nice stamps. Only buying online we have a chance to find special and unusual stamps.

Some photos - Fort Bema (part 2)

There are many graffities inside buildings located in the Fort Bema . Some of them are beautiful.

These are all photos from the Fort Bema. I think the place is specific. You can see an old, abandoned fort. I also walked through some dark corridors without any windows. Some doors where blocked on purpose, but there are still many things to see.

Photos was taken while I was on a trip to the Fort Bema, which was finished in 1890. This post shows a park, and the next one will contain more photos of buildings and some interiors.

Wilanów Palace was completed in 1696. It represents the characteristic type of baroque suburban residence built entre cour et jardin (between the entrance court and the garden). Its architecture is original, a merger of generally European art with distinctively Polish building traditions. Upon its elevations and in the palace interiors ancient symbols glorify the Sobieski family, especially the military triumphs of the king. The structure was designed by Augustyn Wincenty Locci. Since 2006, the palace has been a member of the international association of European Royal Residences.
