The European mouflon (Ovis orientalis musimon) is the westernmost and smallest sub-species of mouflon. It was originally found only on the Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia, but has been introduced into many other regions of Europe. In Poland it can be found in Karkonosze, Masyw Śnieżnika, Góry Wałbrzyskie, Góry Sowie, Góry Bardzkie and Mazovia Region.
