Gift from Verona


Postacrds shows the Adige river. It is the second longest river in Italy, rising in the Alps in the province of South Tyrol, flowing 410 kilometres (250 mi) through most of North-East Italy to the Adriatic Sea.

Second postcard from Verona


On the card you can see The Verona Arena (Arena di Verona), It is a Roman amphitheatre built in 1st century. It is one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind.

Gift from Italy!


I got these postcards as a gift. They are all very nice, one of them was sent from Italy (see here). All postcards were bought in Verona. 


In the middle of the first picture you can see the Juliet statue and on the left side there is the balcony of her house.
These four postcards on the photos below show one of the most recognizable monument of Verona - Arena - the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans.




The Ponte Pietra (Italian for "Stone Bridge") was built in 100 BC!




Looking at these postcards make me dream about visiting Verona! :-)

Postcard from Verona!


This is my first postcard from Italy! I received it from the person that is close to my heart. It was sent from Verona. The history of Romeo and Juliet took place in this city.
